1About these terms

These terms and conditions ("terms") apply to your use of https://betopeningtimes.co.uk and every page within it, including the Betfred, Coral, Ladbrokes, odds and offers sections (together, the "website").

By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Please read them alongside our Privacy and Cookies Policy.

The website is operated by G.J.A Tech Ventures Limited ("we", "us", "our").

3What this website does

Bet Opening Times publishes free information to help people in Great Britain find and plan visits to betting shops. This includes:

• typical opening and closing times for Betfred, Coral and Ladbrokes shops, by day, bank holiday, location and sporting event;
• branch pages with live open or closed status and a countdown to closing, based on each shop's published hours;
• tools to find betting shops near you, by postcode or current location;
• betting odds, odds comparisons, odds alerts and calculators such as our decimal odds converter;
• information about free bets, sign-up offers and in-store promotions from licensed bookmakers.

Everything on the website is general information. It is not betting advice, financial advice or a recommendation to gamble.

4Who can use this website

The website is intended only for people who are:

• aged 18 or over; and
• located in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).

By using the website you confirm that you meet both requirements. If you are under 18, please leave the website now. Offers and bookmaker services we describe may not be available in Northern Ireland or elsewhere.

5We are independent

We are not a bookmaker. We do not hold a gambling licence, accept bets, hold customer funds, pay out winnings or operate any betting shop, website or app.

Brand names and trade marks shown on the website belong to their owners and are used only to identify the businesses we write about.

Any bet you place, account you open or dispute you have is between you and the bookmaker concerned, under that bookmaker's own terms. If you have a complaint about a bookmaker, please raise it with them directly.

6Opening times, odds and accuracy

We work hard to keep the website accurate, and we review our guides regularly. However:

• Opening times are set by each branch and can change at short notice because of staffing, refurbishment, local events, bank holidays or weather. The times we show are compiled from publicly available sources and reflect each branch's standard pattern, not a guarantee for any individual shop on any given day.
• Live status and countdowns are calculated from those standard hours and your device's clock. They do not show whether a shop has actually opened or closed early.
• Odds move constantly and may have changed by the time you see them. The odds that apply to your bet are the ones the bookmaker offers when your bet is accepted.
• Information from third parties, such as bookmakers, mapping services and odds feeds, may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and we cannot control it.

7Free bets and offers

Free bets, sign-up offers, promo codes and in-store promotions are provided by the bookmaker, not by us. Every offer is subject to the bookmaker's own full terms and conditions, which may include eligibility rules, minimum stakes, minimum odds, time limits, payment method restrictions and wagering requirements.

Offers can be changed or withdrawn by the bookmaker at any time. Our summaries are a guide only. Always read the full offer terms on the bookmaker's website before you sign up or deposit. We are not responsible if an offer is unavailable, changes, or is refused to you by the bookmaker.

8Affiliate links and advertising

Bet Opening Times is funded by affiliate advertising. If you click an affiliate link and then open an account or place a bet with the bookmaker, we may receive a commission, for example through the Betfred Partners programme.

• Using an affiliate link never changes the price you pay, the odds you receive or the terms of any offer.
• Commercial arrangements have no bearing on the opening times we publish, on which branches appear on a page, or on the order they appear in.
• Where a link earns us commission, it is marked as advertising.
• We only promote bookmakers licensed by the Gambling Commission to serve customers in Great Britain.

We may also show advertising from third-party networks. Those networks may use cookies and similar technologies, as explained in our Privacy and Cookies Policy.

9Location and postcode search

Some tools, such as "Use my current location" and postcode search, help you find nearby shops. Sharing your location is optional and is controlled through your browser or device settings. We use it only to show results near you.

Map views, Street View and directions open in Google Maps, which is operated by Google under its own terms. Distances and routes are approximate.

10Odds alerts and emails

If you sign up for odds alerts or any other email or notification service, you confirm that the contact details you give us are your own and that you are 18 or over. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us.

We may suspend or end any alert service at any time. Alerts are information only and may be delayed; they are not an instruction or recommendation to bet.

11Safer gambling

Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. Only bet what you can afford to lose, set limits before you start, and never chase losses.

If you have self-excluded from gambling, please do not use our links to open new betting accounts. Betting shops also run their own self-exclusion schemes, which you can ask about in any branch. More information is on our 18+ page.

12Using the website

You may use the website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• use the website in any way that breaks the law or is fraudulent;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system;
• introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
• interfere with, overload or disrupt the website or its security;
• scrape, crawl, copy or extract content or data from the website by automated means, including for training artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, without our written permission;
• frame the website or present its content as your own.

We may restrict or block access to anyone we reasonably believe has broken these terms.

15Availability

16Our responsibility to you

• we are not liable for any gambling losses, or for anything a bookmaker or other third party does or fails to do;
• we are only responsible for loss that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when you used the website;
• we are not liable for any business losses, such as loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, because the website is for personal use only.

We are not responsible for damage to your device or data caused by a virus or other harmful material that we could not reasonably have prevented. Please use up-to-date virus protection.

18Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, legal changes or changes to our commercial arrangements. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. The version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies, so please check back from time to time.

19Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you live in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

20General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not enforce any of our rights straight away, we can still enforce them later. These terms do not give anyone other than you and us any rights to enforce them.
